Going all BadgurlRiri style

When I heard about a collaboration between River Island and Badgirl-Riri, I was very curious about the final result. The collection turned-out to be very close to her style, yet still in the spirit of the Brand. Even tough some pieces are too grungy for me to pull off, I find some pieces i really had a big Crush on !

-The shorts, because i have kind of an obsession with Shorts and stripes in general. 

-The Dress, because it's an excellent mix between the Chic of a long dress with still a sexy-glamorous twist.

-And last but not least THE CAP because i'm currently obsessed with those, and that one is just amazing!

First thing I do when the weather start to warm up a bit, is looking for great shoe to rock my Spring and Summer outfits. 
My go-to kind of Sandals are Wedges since they're so comfy yet still amazing to give a little chic.

Good girls are made of sugar and spice. But I'm a bad girl, made of whipped cream and ice.

After spending a couple hours with my sister's 6 years old Mean Girls clique and organizing their cupcake-atelier i found myself all exited about taking a tons of pictures of the result and of course it was just a mater of minutes until i uploaded my piece of art on Instagram. At that very moment I started asking myself, What the hell is that new trend ? Like really .. ? Why is there such a big thing around CAKES ? From a Valentines Party where the Cupcakes were mixed with Vodka-tonic, to most of the fashionblogs where the cupcakes are being showed off next to the latest S/S collection and FashionWeek Streetstyles, to where i'm standing right now -a girls playdate -, these little cakes are like everywhere. The funniest thing is for me the amazing cakes you find on tumblr or Instagram hanging out with the Size 0 models... Something wrong you said ? 

I really feel like striking against this Cake-trend. First off all mine are never as cool as those supercool cupcakes from newyork flooding my homepages , and second of all they're so cute we almost forget the crazy amount of fat and calories they're made off !!!!

Apres avoir passé un bon moment a organiser un super atelier Cupcakes a ma soeur et sa clique de MeanGirls de 6ans je me suis surprise prendre le résultat en photo et très vite ces petits gâteaux dégoulinant se sont retrouvés sur Instagram. Apres quelque minutes j'ai pas pue m'empêcher de me demander ... Mais c'est quoi cette mode franchement ?! C'est quoi ce Big deal autours de simples gateaux. D'une fête de Saint-Valentin ou sont mélangés Vodka-Tonic et Cupcakes, au Blogs mode ou les Cupcakes côtois les dernières collections printemps-été et les streetstyle des fashion weeks, a enfin une âpres-midi de gamines de 6 ans, pas de discrimination pour les Cupcakes. Le mieux reste encore les cupcakes tous plus beaux les uns que les autres qui trônent sur Instagram ou sur tumblr accoté des mannequins et leurs petit 32.... cherchez l'erreur. 

Moi j'ai sérieusement envie de bouder la mode des gateaux. Déjà parce que les miens sont jamais aussi beaux que les Cupcakes Newyorkais qui flood le web et enfin surtout parce que leur esthétique si Fashionable nous fait oublier que ce sont des véritables bombes caloriques !!!!
Vive la mode des Legumes Vert, des Sashimi et de soupes Miso !

Hello Strangers, hello sunshine.

Hi, and welcome on Mimi'sCrush.

It's on a oh-so-boring sunday afternoon and after finding myself hanging on the internet reading everything i could find on the several blogs i'm usually following that i decided that it was time to distract myself by writing my very own blog. 

i wouldn't call this a fashionblog, even-though i got to admit that i will be talking Clothes (and even-more bags, and yes Shoes of course) most of the time. This is more of a personal blog, with a little bit of everything i find interesting or inspiring or neither of those two but that i'm still dying to share with someone. 

Well, i'm a young woman( or girl or whatever you call the female who's over the teenage phase but not a real grown up with bills to pay and a official 5years-relationship) who loves blabber about random stuff. 

I hope i'll commit to this blog and keep up with it more than a day or a Kardashian wedding. See you around,

Bonjour a tous et bienvenu sur Mimi'sCrush. 

C'est en errant sur la Blogosphere en un dimanche ou je n'avais pas grand chose pour m'occuper que j'ai décidé d'ouvrir ce blog. 

J'appellerais pas ca un "Blog-Mode" même si je vais certainement parler de de fringues (..et de sacs et de chaussures) très, très souvent. C'est plus un blog personnel, avec un peu de tout ce qui m'intéresse et m'inspire, ce qui me donne envie et que je veux partager avec vous. 

Je suis une jeune femme qui aime blablater de tout et de rien.  

J'espère réussir a tenir ce blog un peu plus longtemps qu'une journée mais entre temps je vous dis a bientôt !
